A TYSON FURY superfan has disclosed that after the Gypsy King was “rude” to her, she had a gigantic skull placed over her tattoo of him.
Mother of two When Anna Sinclair, 34, first got the portrait tattoo done, she was ruthlessly mocked by people who said it didn’t look like him. However, when they met up in January, the boxing champion approved it, so she had the last laugh.
After running into Fury a second time, Anna claimed she was unhappy since he dismissed her and was too busy to talk to her.
She went to a tattoo parlor the following day and had a big black and grey skull applied over the portrait.
Tenerife resident Anna told The Sun, “I felt Tyson was rude to me, so I removed his tattoo.”
“He performed here for supporters last week, which is why he was in Tenerife. My partner and I intended to go, and each ticket cost 250 euros.
When we parked the car the day before, I heard someone shout, ‘Tyson, Tyson.'”
“When I got out of the car, he was right in front of me, pushing a stroller and talking on the phone.
“When I said hello and welcomed him back to Tenerife, he gave me a furious look and said, ‘Don’t you see I am on my phone?'”
“I felt a little horrible, but then I noticed Paris, his wife, approaching from the rear. She recognized me from when I had initially met them a few months prior.
“‘Hello Anna,’ she said. She truly is an angel. We hugged and kissed each other.
“I told her right away that we would not be attending the event.
“I think he doesn’t really know how to communicate with his supporters, so I was a little let down. Only during those high-profile performances where he is compensated.
“So I went and covered him up with a skull.”
After declaring that the heavyweight champion was her “idol” and even motivated her to give up alcohol, Anna first got the tattoo on her arm last year as a tribute to him.
However, when she shared it on a Facebook fan page for Tyson Fury, she received a barrage of nasty comments from individuals who said the inking didn’t resemble the Gypsy King and that she need to get it taken off.
After meeting Fury at an all-inclusive resort in Tenerife while he was on vacation with his wife Paris and children, Anna was able to silence the critics. They both adored the tattoo.
Anna even displayed the tattoo when posing for a photo with the boxer.
After having him inscribed on her arm for a year, Anna claims she feels “stronger” and has no regrets about the tattoo, despite the fact that the cover-up was “very painful.”
“He was there for a year. I believe he greatly inspired me. However, it doesn’t continue forever, I suppose, like everything else,” Anna remarked.
“After getting his tattoo for a year, I feel stronger and have no regrets about it, but he has to improve his social skills.
“It was painful but it felt like the right thing to do.”
