After Fury’s fight with the Ukrainian in February was postponed because of a cut he received during sparring, supporters have praised his weight decrease in recent weeks.

Additionally, Fury has offered his followers a sneak peek at the meals he has been consuming in preparation for his fight against Usyk in Saudi Arabia.

He served a simple lunch of chicken, rice, and salad that doesn’t seem particularly appetizing but is part of the boxers’ rigorous diet regimen, which was created by boxing nutritionist Greg Marriott.

Earlier last month, Marriott told Men’s Health that Fury consumes 3,000 calories on days off and 4,500–6,000 calories while training.

The goal of the diet is for Fury to maintain a healthy weight while yet having the energy to exercise.

Additionally, Marriott stated that although the WBC champion is in “amazing” shape, he still has to shed a few more pounds before facing Usyk.

“I can assure you that you will witness a different Tyson Fury,” he told Men’s Health.

“Tyson simply follows my instructions no matter what. He has complete faith in me.

“There aren’t any difficulties for Tyson since he is aware that he will be at his best. He has experienced it, completed it, and obtained the t-shirts.

“I believe that his only goal for this fight was to “go back to looking fantastic,” which entails feeling great and being ready to compete.

Knowing that he’s already in fantastic form makes him happier. Now he doesn’t have to worry about losing weight. That’s already what we did. I’ve already relieved him of his burden.

“You’re gunna see another 50% on top of where he is now.”

Previously, the 35-year-old would only eat one or two meals a day, but now he is eating up to six meals.

He eats lean beef mince sausages, fresh plum tomatoes, avocado butter smeared with black pepper and fresh garlic tabasco, and two slices of sourdough toast for breakfast.

Other options for breakfasts include omelets, protein with fresh almonds and chia seeds, and oatmeal.

Fury’s dinner consists of a 400-gram filet steak, roasted veggies such as beetroot, broccoli, and asparagus, and Dijon mustard.

When Fury narrowly defeated Francis Ngannou via split decision last year, he was criticized for his body conditioning.

However, a whopping £100 million prize fund will be up for grabs in May when he faces Usyk in the heavyweight division, which will decide its first unified champion in 24 years.

Fury will defend his WBC heavyweight title, while the Ukrainian will step into the ring with the WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO titles.

Additionally, a brand-new “undisputed” championship belt will be given to the victor.
