Selena Gomez revealed that she and her fiancé Benny Blanco will release a new album the following month.

On Thursday night, the 32-year-old pop artist shared the news with her 421 Instagram followers through a slideshow of photos she had taken with her 36-year-old fiancé, including a cute one of him kissing her on the cheek and others of them in bed together.

She captioned the photo, saying, “I always fool you guys, my NEW album I Said I Love You First with my best friend @itsbennyblanco is out on 3/21.”

“Our first song, Scared of Loving You, is now available on all streaming platforms,” the Grammy nominee added. Pre-orders for the album’s merchandise and autographed items are now open. We are eager to showcase this unique project.

Blanco wrote, “I love you, baby,” as a comment beneath the post.

The pair previously worked together on her 2023 single, Single Soon, and her 2020 song, “I Can’t Get Enough,” from her most recent album, Rare.

In 2015, they also collaborated on her songs Kill Em With Kindness and Same Old Love.

She and Blanco are seen holding hands and laughing together while lying side by side in the music video for her song, Scared of Loving You. Gomez sings, “If I broke your heart, would you take me back?/ If I broke my arm, would you sign my cast?” at the start of the poignant song. I hope I don’t repeat my history because I used to fall in love too quickly when I was younger.

She acknowledges in the chorus that they are “going to find somebody new” or that they are “scared of losing” a lover.

She posted a lovely video of them enjoying Disneyland together after announcing the news.

With Scared of Loving You playing in the background, the video showed them kissing and having a great time at the Happiest Place on Earth.

More than 1.4 million people liked the post in just two hours, and Lily Collins, Gracie Abrams, and Julia Michaels left kind remarks.

With the caption, “I can’t believe I get to spend the rest of my life with you,” Blanco posted a video of him and Gomez peeking inside their bedroom via a keyhole.

She can be seen caressing his face while they cuddled close to each other in the video.

Gomez previously hinted that she was “a little bit too old for the pop star life” and has been taking on more acting roles, so many of her fans were taken aback by her unexpected announcement.

Selena talked candidly about her career in Hollywood in December when she spoke with Saoirse Ronan for Variety’s Actors on Actors series.

“I definitely think my strong suit is probably acting,” she wrote. However, I’m proud of my ability to tell a story via music; most of my favorite songs are ballads, and they’re open and truthful.

“But I think I might be a little,” the Only Murders in the Building sensation continued.

Since it’s really only the beginning, I’m truly thrilled to be in this new chapter of my life.

Gomez and Blanco began dating in June 2023, but she didn’t make the relationship official until December of the same year.

She had been secretly dating the hitmaker for six months at the time, and she used Instagram to tell her admirers that he was her “absolute everything.”

The Wolves singer has dated The Weeknd, Zedd, Nick Jonas, Taylor Lautner, and several other celebrities, such as Andrew Taggart of The Chainsmokers and Zayn Malik.

Prior to their breakup in 2018, she also notably had an intermittent romance with 30-year-old Justin Bieber that lasted eight years. In August, he and 28-year-old model Hailey Bieber welcomed a boy into the world.

Gomez and Blanco were acquaintances for more than ten years before they fell in love, and they even collaborated on songs together.

The music producer disclosed last year that Gomez initiated the contact.

“She asked me out.” It was insane, really insane. After asking me as if we were simply chatting, she added, “You wanna get dinner?” He clarified on Kai Cenat’s Twitch feed, “And I went to the dinner, and I had no idea.”

“I’m not ‘nervous’ because I already know Gomez personally and professionally,” Blanco said.

“No, I wasn’t anxious because I’ve known her for years.” We’ve been buddies for a good ten or fifteen years,” he told Cenat.

Blanco claimed that although he and Gomez had drinks together, he was unaware that he and the creator of Rare Beauty were dating right away.

I was completely unaware that we were going on a date. “I would have worn something different to this date,” she said. I thought, “Wait, what? Are we going on a date? I didn’t know. He said, “I had no idea we were going on a date.”

We hung out for about two days after she left early because she had to travel somewhere to shoot a video the following day, and I thought, “Yo, I think she likes me.” I simply kissed her after that, and the rest is history.

He continued by referring to Gomez as his “best friend.”

Gomez talked about her “future” with Blanco in 2024 when she was interviewed by The Hollywood Reporter.

Blanco, according to the Emilia Perez actress, is the one man who has ever made her feel the “safest.”

She told the source, “I see a future with this person, and this is the safest I’ve ever felt in [a relationship].”

Blanco feels more at ease sharing pictures and videos of them online for her fans to view because of the security she offers.

“And people are less eager to hunt you down when you put a little bit out there,” Gomez said.

When perceptive followers saw that Gomez had posted a selfie to her Instagram Story in August, hiding her left wedding finger under a pink heart emoji, it initially raised rumors that the duo was engaged.

A ‘hint’ that Gomez ‘got engaged over the weekend’ while surrounded by friends at their customary beach house hang out’ earlier that month was posted on the gossip website DeuxMoi, adding fuel to the flames.

Both Gomez and Blanco had openly discussed the prospect of marriage before announcing their engagement.

In May, Blanco stated he could picture himself ruining the millionaire during an appearance on Howard Stern.

Stern pushed him to confess that he was going to ask Gomez for her hand in marriage, so he did.

He exclaimed, “I always think, ‘I don’t know a world where it could be better than this,’ when I look at her.”

Then Stern said that they will get married, to which Blanco said, ‘You and me both.’

Blanco had previously stated in the same interview that he hoped to have children with Gomez in the future. My next objective is to check that box. I have a large number of nephews and godchildren. He told Stern, “I love being around kids.”

‘He can’t lie to save his life,’ Gomez said in response to Blanco’s remarks regarding marriage and kids at the Time 100 Event in May. He will respond if someone asks him a question.
