During their Friday visit to Disneyland, Selena Gomez and her fiancé Benny Blanco put on a show of affection.
As they walked through the packed amusement park, the 32-year-old Emilia Perez actress, who recently joined friend Jennifer Aniston at a Galentine’s Day event, linked arms with the 36-year-old record producer and smiled broadly.
As Gomez continues to ignore criticism for her heartbreaking deportation video, she makes an appearance at the Happiest Place on Earth.
The former Disney channel personality wore a long, black coat and denim trousers for a stylishly laid-back look.
She let her brunette hair fall freely past her shoulders and put on a pair of chunky-soled black boots.
During the afternoon outing, the Wolves singer effortlessly slung a black cross-body purse over her shoulder to carry a few necessities.
Blanco flaunted his own sense of style by wearing patterned pants and a light blue jacket and button-up shirt.
The Eastside hitmaker seemed to be clutching a light stick in his hand and finished the ensemble with a pair of comfortable slip-on sneakers.
The couple, who got engaged in December of last year, left the amusement park escorted by security.
The two celebrities appeared to be welcomed by Disneyland fans as Benny flashed a peace sign.
After a year and a half of dating, the actress from Only Murders in the Building revealed about two months prior that the Blanco had proposed to her.
She shared a number of photos that she had taken of the scene on her own Instagram feed.
To provide her friends and followers with a close-up view of the striking marquise diamond ring, the celebrity only displayed her left hand in one photo.
‘I’m on my marquise diamonds / I’m a marquise diamond / Could even make that Tiffany jealous,’ is a notable line from Selena’s 2015 hit song “Good For You,” which is also referenced in the engagement.
Since reaching the significant milestone, Gomez has shared a number of pictures with her admirers, showing off the diamond sparkler with excitement.
The actress also flashed the ring while walking arm in arm with Blanco on her most recent trip to Disneyland this week.
Selena and Benny snuggled up together at the 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills last month.
For her role in Emilia Perez, the actress received a nomination for Best Supporting Actress, and he backed her.
Additionally, Gomez was spotted for the first time this week after receiving criticism for her heartfelt deportation video that went viral.
Alongside Friends alum Jennifer Aniston, the founder of Rare Beauty assisted in co-hosting a Galentine’s Day celebration at the San Vicente Bungalows in West Hollywood.
Aniston spoke about her business, LolaVie, and Selena had the opportunity to talk about her own beauty line.
“We just want to celebrate friendship, women, and how we want to keep encouraging each other,” Gomez stated.
And I’ve known Jennifer for more than ten years; she’s always supported me and I’ve always looked up to her. Additionally, it’s good to have individuals in your life who are willing to listen to you.
‘It’s been a really rough couple of weeks,’ Jennifer added, referring to the flames in Los Angeles. “But we’re here to support one another and celebrate women.”
Selena made her first appearance at the event since she posted a video of herself sobbing over Trump’s deportation program to Instagram.
The actor heartily stated, “All my people are getting attacked, the children,” in the now-deleted film.
“I don’t get it.” I apologize; I wish I could do anything, but I am unable to. I’m at a loss on what to do. I swear, I’ll try everything.
The caption she added at the bottom was, ‘I’m sorry,’ and was followed by the Mexican flag.
‘Apparently it’s not good to demonstrate empathy for others,’ Gomez stated in a subsequent Instagram stories post shortly after removing the video.
Mothers whose children were killed or raped by illegal immigration criticized the actress for her tearful video, which the White House responded to by sharing it.
