Snoop Dogg Shares Heartwarming Moments with His 12 Grandchildren, Celebrating Family and Legacy
Snoop Dogg, proud grandfather of twelve, recently shared delightful photos of his young granddaughters, showcasing the joy of family. On May 27, the Long Beach native posted two images on Instagram that capture the essence of his role as a grandparent.
In the first photo, affectionately titled “Papa Snoop,” he sits comfortably in a chair, holding a beaming toddler on his lap. The second image features another grandchild joyfully standing in front of a food table, playfully captioned, “My choo choo. Paw paws. [Paw emoji] Granddaughter.”
While the posts don’t reveal the names of his granddaughters, it remains unclear which of his four children—Corde, 29; Julian, 25; Cori, 24; and Cordell, 26—are their parents.
In a People-exclusive video released last year, the 52-year-old rapper reflected on his grandfatherly experiences. “I have six grandkids and one on the way. They mean everything to me, each one holding a special place in my heart,” he shared. He fondly recalled his eldest grandchild, Zion, who proudly declared himself the family star by creating his own cereal using a Snoop Loopz box.
Snoop also mentioned his granddaughter CC (Journey), who shares a love for tennis and joyfully calls out to him while wearing mini Corona ads in stores. “Hearing them call me ‘Papa’ means the world to me,” he remarked, reflecting on the bond he shares with his grandchildren.
He reminisced about his own grandfather, stating, “He was my best friend, and being that for my grandchildren shows I’ve done well and overcome my circumstances. I can now guide them and help them avoid the obstacles I faced.”
The seasoned artist concluded by expressing gratitude for his life’s blessings: “To be respected in the music industry, to maintain a loving marriage, and to be cherished by my kids is everything. I strive to be someone who gives understanding and offers solutions.”
