Selena Gomez recently reminisced about her first kiss during an interview with W Magazine, where she opened up about her early crushes and experiences in the spotlight. The 32-year-old actress, now newly engaged, reflected on having “probably too many crushes” as a child, mentioning stars like Jesse McCartney and Chad Michael Murray.

Selena Gomez took a trip down memory lane as she recalled her very first kiss with a fellow Disney Channel star as a teenager during her new interview with W Magazine

Gomez revealed that her first kiss occurred on television when she guest-starred on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody at the age of 11 or 12, sharing the moment with Dylan Sprouse. She described the experience as humorous, noting that both of them were young and figuring out how to kiss. “I had never done it, and I was so scared,” she admitted. Although she had her first “real-life” kiss at 14 with a boy named Juan, she previously joked in 2020 about her on-screen kiss being “one of the worst days of my life,” as she had a crush on Dylan’s twin brother, Cole Sprouse.

In her interview, Gomez also discussed her role in the Spanish-language musical thriller Emilia Pérez, for which she is nominated for a Golden Globe. She expressed excitement about working with talented filmmakers and praised the script for being thought-provoking and groundbreaking. Speaking Spanish in the film made her proud, although she admitted to feeling nervous about it, despite having released a Spanish album before.

Gomez also shared her enjoyment of her character’s blonde hair in the film, noting that the wig took about 80 hours to create for a perfect match with her hairline. Reflecting on her personal preferences, she mentioned a pet peeve of hers: people being late. She emphasized the importance of how people treat others, especially those close to her, stating, “I really pay attention to how people treat my friends and people around me.”
