According to TMZ, the ex-couple shared a “friendly” breakfast at JOi Cafe in Westlake Village, Los Angeles, where they spent the morning chatting. Us Weekly noted that Justin paid for both their meals.

The pair was also photographed attending church together that morning, sitting next to each other in the congregation, according to other churchgoers. Later that evening, Justin’s car was seen in Selena’s driveway, marking what appears to be their first public outing together since 2015.

Bieber and Gomez had an on-and-off relationship that lasted until their official breakup in 2014. They were seen together just last week when Justin visited Selena’s home in Studio City, although her then-boyfriend, The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye), was not present at that gathering. Reports suggest he was fine with Selena reconnecting with Justin at the time.

However, following news of their recent hangout, fans noticed that The Weeknd started unfollowing some of Gomez’s friends and family members on Instagram, hinting at possible tension stemming from her renewed connection with Bieber.
