Tyson Fury has revealed that he has not spoken to his wife, Paris, in three months as he prepares for his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk this weekend. Fury is set to face Usyk for the second time, following a defeat by points in their first encounter in May.
In an interview with TNT Sports presenter Dev Sahni, Fury shared the seriousness of his training camp: “It’s been a long camp. Been away from my wife and kids for three months… I’ve sacrificed a lot.” When asked if it would be worth it if he wins the rematch, he affirmed, “It will be worth it, 100 percent.”
Fury and Paris, married since 2008 and parents to seven children, have faced personal challenges, including a miscarriage Paris suffered the night before Fury’s first fight against Usyk. Although she did not inform him directly, Fury sensed something was wrong when she couldn’t attend. He later learned the heartbreaking news after returning home.
Fury expressed the difficulty of being away during such a challenging time, stating, “To go through that on your own, that isn’t good.” He noted that this was not their first experience with loss, as Paris previously experienced a stillbirth in 2014 and another miscarriage in 2018, which she chose not to disclose to him until after an important fight.
While Fury insists that the miscarriage did not affect his performance against Usyk, his trainer Andy Lee observed that Fury seemed quiet and agitated in the lead-up to the fight, hinting that personal matters may have weighed on his mind.

Now in Saudi Arabia for the upcoming bout, Fury is hopeful for a reunion with his family for Christmas and aims to return with heavyweight titles to share with them. Whether Paris will be at ringside for the rematch remains uncertain.
