Following her nomination, Gomez shared an exciting video, expressing pride for her co-star Zoe Saldana, who was nominated alongside her for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture.

Gomez’s nomination is for her role in Emilia Pérez, while Grande received her first-ever Golden Globe nod for portraying Galinda Upland in Wicked. The fantasy drama has been performing well at the box office, earning a total of four nominations.
