Ehyang says that what makes a tattoo artist unique is their style and level of skill. Once she found the look that would make her shine, people became interested in her work and image. But there was plenty of help and direction to get the job done.
It was a pleasure to meet Sol, my teacher, who was very skilled in many different kinds of art. Besides showing me how to ink, he also taught me how to be an artist.
Ehyang wanted to become a fully trained tattoo artist because her mentor pushed her to do so. Over time, Ehyang’s style changed into a mix of bright colors and thin, fine lines.
