When Selena Gomez talked about her dating life on Tuesday, she let slip what her biggest ick is. 

Also talked about was her first date with boyfriend Benny Blanco, 36, after he was nominated for Sexiest Man Alive 2024. 

Selena told Zoe Saldana and Emilia Pérez’s co-star on LADbible that the thing that turns her off the most is people who are “rude” and “disrespectful.” 

Selena said, “People who are rude.” That is the thing that turns me off the most. No matter if it’s online or in person, people are rude and do bad things.

Zoe made a joke, “What gives me the creeps?” Just having coffee breath all the time makes me feel gross. That is very important.

“Maybe it’s because I grew up in New York; you know how when you take the train early in the morning or late at night, everyone is close.” There is no room. There’s a hint of coffee breath around you. That’s great. I always thought, “Oh God!”

The star of Only Murders in the Building talked about her love life and said she didn’t agree with the saying “Dinner on a first date is always a bad move.” She also said she “loves to have one-on-one time.” 

Selena said her first dinner date with producer boyfriend Benny was “sweet.” They began dating last year. 

The former Disney star replied, “I don’t agree.” I want to have dinner, so why wouldn’t I? That could be why I wasn’t with anyone for so long.

“I guess it depends on the time and place because I enjoy spending time by myself.” In general, I think that helps me do better. 

You know what? I can find someone at a party who will sit and talk with me all night. That’s why I like the idea. 

“But yeah, being in a group does help sometimes too.” But I loved my first date with my boyfriend. We had a great dinner because it was so sweet.

Zoe told her, “But it depends on what you eat.” I would never pick Mexican food, and I don’t think I ever have.

The singer added, “That’s everything I want on a date.”

It happened just hours after People Magazine named Benny their Sexiest Man Alive. He was all over social media talking about it. 

The Grammy-nominated producer will be in the next issue of People with a bunch of hot guys. 

The sexiest man alive for this year will be announced on November 12. The winner was chosen based on their looks, charisma, and effect on culture.

When fans learned that he would be involved, they had a range of reactions. Some people were happy with the choice and wrote “YES!” He’s changing what it means to be “sexy” with his fun and style! 

No way to argue with that choice! His skills are matched only by his charm,’ wrote another fan. 

A lot of people are still confused about why Selena picked him. Someone else said, “He seems like a great guy.” “He is so charming.” Yes, Selena, we get it.

“He gives off warmth and kindness.” It’s great to see him and Selena stick together. They both deserve love, happiness, and all the good things that life has to give!

But not everyone agreed with the choice. A lot of people seemed to think Blanco was the cover star and not just in the issue.

“Selena paid for this,” one fan wrote along with three tears.
