Selena Gomez reflects on a swimsuit snap from 2013 as she discusses her body image: ‘I will never look like this again’😢😢

Selena Gomez shared some self-love on Instagram on Monday.

The 31-year-old actress posted a picture from the past of herself in a small zebra bikini. She then posted a more current bathing suit picture of herself wearing high-waisted bikini bottoms and a white tube top to show off her bigger body.

“I realized today that I’ll never look this way again…” Selena wrote about the first shot, which was taken in Miami, Florida, in 2013. She had previously said that body-shaming comments made her “tear my eyes out.”

“I’m not perfect, but I like who I am…” “Sometimes I forget it’s okay to be myself,” she said about the next picture, which was taken in 2023 in Mexico.

Selena has said good things about her body in the past. Gomez had taken off her makeup earlier in the day to get pampered at Face Place in West Hollywood. She wore grey cashmere-style sweatpants and brown fuzzy slides.

When critics spoke up, she told them to “go away” because she didn’t believe in judging people based on their body or anything else.

The singer then told her fans to love and accept themselves.

“I just wanted to speak out and speak hope to everyone who feels ashamed of what they’re going through because no one knows the whole story,” she said.

“I just want everyone to know how beautiful and wonderful you are.”

The Wizards of Waverly Place star stressed how important her health was over how she looked.

After going to the 2023 Golden Globes the month before, the author of Rare Beauty dealt with more comments that made fun of her body.

Selena asked her half-sister Gracie, who is nine years old, on Instagram Live, “I’m a little bit big right now, since I had a good time over the holidays, huh?”
