Stylish outfits made Selena Gomez and Zoe Saldana look great as they went to a showing of their new movie Emilia Perez in New York City on Wednesday.
Fans were mad at the 32-year-old singer of “Wolves” for giving a homeless guy a $20 bill. She was seen with the 46-year-old actress from “Avatar” outside of the Crosby Street Hotel in New York City.
In the Spanish-language movie, both of them played lead parts. It will be available on Netflix in the US and UK starting November 13.
People looked twice at Gomez because she was wearing a tight, ruched black shirt that she tucked into her loose-fitting black pants that were held together with a black belt.
She wore a black jacket over the outfit, but she left the front button undone to keep warm in the fall weather.
That’s why Selena put on a pair of black shoes with closed toes to match her all-black outfit.
There were a lot of people on the curb in the busy city, and the star had a black YSL purse in her left hand.
Her dark hair was split down the middle and flowed down past her shoulders in light waves.
Gomez chose simple decorations, just a pair of dangly earrings and a few bright rings for her hands.
Classical makeup was used on the head of Rare Beauty for the event. She put mascara on her eyelashes and used thin black eyeliner.
On her cheeks, a warm blush was used to give her a healthy glow, and on her lips, a darker nude tint was used to finish.
Zoe also looked stylish in a black and white dress with sheer fabric on the top.
The actress from Guardians of the Galaxy wore a long black Fendi coat over the outfit and white shoes with closed toes.
Her dark brown hair was split down the middle and fell in beautiful waves past her shoulders.
While Zoe could have worn more makeup, she chose not to. She did add a few rings to finish off the look.
Saldana arrived at the hotel in SoHo with a smile on her face and a friendly wave to nearby fans.
Jessie was played by Selena, and Rita was played by Zoe. Other stars in the movie included Karla Sofia Gascon, Edgar Ramirez, and Adriana Paz.
IMDB says the plot is about a lawyer in Mexico who gets an unexpected offer to help a feared drug lord retire from his business and hide forever by changing into the woman he’s always dreamed of being.
The first time Emilia Perez was shown was at the 77th Cannes Film Festival in May, where it was in competition for the Palme d’Or.
In the end, the project won the Jury Prize at the festival, and the group of women who were in it won the award for Best Actress.
That movie came out in French theaters in August and will be available on Netflix on November 13.
