WE NXT star Ava has hinted at a significant career shift that could involve her embracing The Bloodline, her family’s wrestling heritage.
The WWE legend and rising star, 22, whose father is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, was devastated earlier this month when her on-screen family Schism disintegrated.
Since making her stage debut on October 25, 2022, Ava has frequently participated in NXT performances. However, Joe Gacy’s company has since disbanded, and he has recently asked the fourth generation performer to “go” and “find her purpose.”
She seemed to be doing just that on this week’s NXT episode, as seen by a video from the NXT Anonymous X (formerly Twitter) account that features a fascinating chat.
Fans were unable to understand her words in the video, but she was seen in a room talking to Paul Heyman, a key member of Roman Reigns’ Bloodline group, who had the phrase “The Bloodline” printed on his phone cover.
Ava would be a fantastic fit for the group, which now consists of brothers Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. The leader Roman is also a cousin of Ava’s father The Rock.
Ava, whose true name is Simone Johnson, merely tweeted, “good chat @HeymanHustle,” without providing any specifics about their conversation.
In addition to using numerous side-eye emojis, some fans expressed their pleasure with the unexpected exchange in a more direct manner.
One viewer wrote, “See you soon in the bloodline, ava,” and another said, “Welcome to the family.”
Even though it’s still very early in the process, The Rock recently made hints that something interesting might be in the works for WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia in April, following the cancellation of plans for a match with Roman.
“WrestleMania is taking place in Philadelphia.” He said, “I’m open,” to Pat McAfee. “The fans deserve something extraordinary and unheard of.”
