Fans are thought to have found out who Selena Gomez was talking about at the Golden Globes.

There was something that Selena, 32, said in her best friend Taylor Swift’s ear that made the singer gasp.

They talked in January. The Only Murders in the Building star talked to Taylor, 34, and Miles Teller’s wife, Keleigh Teller.

Quickly spread online, a story said that Selena had asked Timothee Chalamet for a picture but his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, said no.

She put an end to the story, though, by writing on E! News’ Instagram post about it, “Nooooooooo, I told Taylor about two of my friends who hooked up.” That doesn’t matter to anyone.”

A source also told People that Selena “absolutely wasn’t talking about Timothée or Kylie.”

They also said she didn’t see or talk to the couple that night.

Fans now believe they understand who those “friends” are.

Someone on X tweeted that Meryl Streep and Martin Short were seen holding hands at the opening of OITNB Season 4.

Another company, Betches, said they believed that was the person Selena was referring to.

“Were these the ‘two friends who hooked up’ that Selena whispered to Taylor about at the Golden Globes?” a tweet asked.

A clip from Etalk also says that Meryl, 75, and Martin, 74, are the two friends who got together.

“Could those friends be Meryl Streep and Martin Short, who work with her on Only Murders?” they asked in the video.

“These two play lovers on screen, but they have sparked some rumors over the past few months that there might be an off-screen romance.”
