Selena Gomez told people who didn’t like her to “f*** off” after she said she couldn’t have kids of her own because of “medical issues.”
The star from “The Only Murders in the Building,” who is 32 years old, recently shared a sweet moment with her goddaughter after she lost an Emmy. She talked back to haters at an event for women in film in a video that has gone viral on X.
The singer said in the video that she was “vulnerable” when she asked for “help” and talked about her health.
“I think there is power in being honest and telling people when you need help,” Gomez said. This is what she said while sitting at a table with her sister Gracie.
“That’s not poor.” I did say I couldn’t carry a child. Yes, I did tell you that I have bipolar disorder. “Get off my lawn.”
People in the room cheered and praised Selena when she was done speaking.
“I want to be an advocate for women, which is why I share and be honest because everyone is going through something,” the star added.
“I don’t have it all together,” Gomez told the truth. It doesn’t matter what I’m not. I can only be myself.
That girl who used to be on Disney Channel reached out and touched her sister on the shoulder. She told him, “Never let anyone tell you that you’re not a good person.”
She said, “So screw anyone who tells you you’re a victim” at the end of the film. In my eyes, you’ve made it through.
The star was asked for the October issue of Vanity Fair, and her answer came right after.
The singer told the news source that she can’t have kids of her own because of her health.
“I’m sorry, but I don’t think I can carry my children,” she said. My health is bad in a lot of ways that could put my life and the baby’s in danger. That made me cry for a while.
Selena did say that she still wants to have a child someday, though. “It might not be what I thought it would be.” I thought it would go the way everyone else’s does.
“I feel a lot better now.” I’m grateful that there are wonderful people ready to adopt or do IVF, which are both big choices for me.
She also said, “I’m glad there are other ways for people who want to be moms.” I’m one of them. I’m excited about that trip, but it will be a little different.
She also said that the child would be hers whether she had a baby through adoption or IVF.
“In the end, I don’t care.” I’ll take it. It will be his child, the Wolves artist told Vanity Fair.
Gomez has said before that she wants to have a child. She told Benny Blanco in May of this year that she was going to adopt a child when she turned 35.
At the Time 100 Most Influential Companies event, the star said, “I was alone for five years, and I got used to it.”
“A lot of people are scared to be by themselves.” About two years of being alone made me feel bad about myself, but then I got used to it.
