The picture shows Gomez, 30, wearing a one-shoulder dress that is see-through and blue pearls, but she didn’t even go to the event this year.

The photo-shopped tweet has 13.8 million views, 25,800 retweets, and 300,100 likes as of Tuesday morning, and it’s still going strong.

It looks like Gomez’s face is on Lily James’ 2022 Versace Met Gala dress, which has been changed to a different shade of blue in the photoshop.

Aside from the fact that the “Look At Me Now” singer didn’t go to the Met Gala, fans saw a few other big problems with the shot right away.

The red carpet that Gomez is put onto is not the one that looks like Colgate toothpaste from this year. It was also easy to see that it was made in Photoshop because some of the colours weren’t mixed well.
