The actor, 32, reunites with Henrie, 35, on the show and is now dating music producer Benny Blanco. Her co-star is overjoyed to see her “settle into herself” as she gets older.

She’s been getting more and more grown up, he told People. She’s becoming more comfortable with herself and taking charge of her life.

‘It’s been wonderful to see her continue to grow into a beautiful woman,’ he said.

In the first show, which ran from 2007 to 2012, Henrie played Gomez’s brother Justin Russo. Gomez will play Alex Russo again in the pilot episode, and both of the stars will also be creating the show.

“Giving the wand to a whole new generation while also giving a big, warm hug to our OG fans is a dream come true for both of us,” Henrie said.

Blanco and Gomez’s relationship was revealed in December 2023. Since then, the two have shared bits of their relationship on social media.

The record producer also said on The Howard Stern Show in May that having kids is his “next goal.” 

Stern once told Blanco that he thought they would get married, and Blanco answered, “You and me both.”I need to get my act together!

“When are you going to propose?” Stern also asked. You need to make the news right now. When are you going to ask your famous girlfriend Selena to marry you?

Blanco replied, “When I see her…””I don’t know a world where it could be better than this,” I always say.

People always told me that when you meet your best friend, you know you’ve found it. She really is my best friend, he said, adding that Selena is “the coolest, nicest, sweetest…”

In another part of the chat, the singer-songwriter talked about wanting to have a family one day. “That’s like my next goal on the box.” I have a lot of God kids and nephews. I love being around kids, it’s my thing!

Gomez recently said that she will not be able to have children of her own because of health problems. 

“I’ve never said this before, but I’m afraid I can’t carry my own children.” There are many health problems I have that could put my life and the baby’s in danger. I had to cry over that for a while.

Selena did say, though, that she still wants to have a child one day. “It might not be how I had imagined it.” I thought it would happen the same way it does for everyone else.

“That makes me feel a lot better.” I’m thankful that there are wonderful people who are willing to adopt or do surrogacy, which are both big options for me.

She also said, “It made me really grateful for the other options for people who want to be moms.” I’m one of them. I’m looking forward to that trip, but it will be a little different.

She also said that the child will still be hers whether she has a baby through surrogacy or adoption. 

“I don’t care in the end.” I’ll have it. The Wolves singer told Vanity Fair, “It’ll be my baby.”
