Kevin Hart is back on set for the filming of Season 2 of ‘Die Hart’ on the Roku Channel.

After lаunching his оwn physicаl restаurаnt, Hаrt Hоuse, in Lоs аngeles, Kevin Hаrt is returning tо wоrk оn his TV shоw, “Ԁie Hаrt.”

The 43-year-old Philadelphia native was spotted in Atlanta on Tuesday filming sequences for his upcoming Roku Channel series. In between takes on set, the actor was seen checking his phone, even though he was not with any co-stars at the time.

Wearing a light tan jacket over a black shirt, Hart moved across the set on Tuesday, periodically taking a look at his phone through one AirPod in his ear. The beginnings of a beard suited his outfit, which included similar black trousers and black and brown trainers.

“Diе Hart,” which had its premiere on the short-lived mobile-only streaming service Quibi, had Hart play a fictionalised version of himself who was desperate to become an action hero. Created by Tripper Clancy (“Stuber”) and Derek Kolstad (“John Wick”), the first season had ten episodes and a roster of A-list actors, including Josh Hartnett as himself, John Travolta, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Jean Reno.

The show was renamed as a Roku Original for The Roku Channel streaming service, which debuted in May 2021, after Quibi’s dissolution in December 2020 and the subsequent acquisition of its content collection by Roku in January 2021.

Beginning in June 2021, the Roku Channel said that “Die Hart” would make a comeback for a second season, which will be dubbed “Die Harter.” The first season’s big Roku Channel launch, which pulled in a record number of households, prompted the swift renewal. No more cast members have been disclosed as of yet, despite the fact that Kevin Hart’s executive producership and return for a second season are confirmed. Leading the second season will be Eric Appel, who directed each episode of the first, with executive producers Tripper Clancy, Candice Wilson, Bryan Smiley, and Thai Randolph.‎
