Selena Gomez posted what looks like a hint that she and Benny Blanco are engaged on her Instagram stories on August 8, 2024. Gomez is taking a selfie in the bathroom mirror while wearing a champagne-colored mini dress in the picture. Blanco can be seen in the distance without shoes on. He is wearing flowery trousers and a white tank top.
That Gomez chose to cover the fourth finger of her left hand with a heart emoji, which is where engagement and wedding rings are usually worn, is what has people scared. In the picture, she wrote, “A night out.”
There is a lot of talk about the engagement right now, and Gomez’s post seems to tease it. A famous gossip website called Deuxmoi posted a “blind item” at the beginning of the week that many people thought was about Gomez and Blanco. It said that a singer-actress “got engaged over the weekend to her boyfriend of a year.”
The secret item said that they got engaged “at their favourite beach house hang out” and that they were “surrounded by friends.” Gonzรกlez is known for having a beach house in Malibu where she films Selena + Chef and often hangs out with Blanco.
In an interview with Howard Stern in May, Blanco said that he wanted to marry Gomez and maybe start a family together. Blanco said, “You and me both,” right away, when Stern said he was “predicting marriage” between the two.
We’ll wait for official proof of their engagement before saying for sure, but based on Gomez’s picture, we think they will get married.
