If you follow Selena Gomez on any of her social media accounts, you know that she loves making fun of her love life (or lack of it) in funny videos. 

Actually, we might not see the actress walk down the aisle any time soon in real life. But while shooting season three of Only Murders in the Building, her character, Mabel Mora, gave us a sneak peek at what Gomez’s big day might look like.

Gomez was seen on the set of the Emmy-nominated show in New York City on Tuesday wearing a beautiful wedding dress in the style of a ball gown. The dress had a strapless sweetheart neckline, a full skirt, and lots of delicate lace. 

She wore a similar floor-length lace veil and white gloves with the dress. Her hair was pulled back to the side to show off a pair of pearl drop earrings. A very Old Hollywood cherry red lip colour finished off Selena’s look, but a pair of white Dr. Martens added Mabel’s signature edge to the outfit.

At this point, we don’t know what part the wedding dress will play in the third season’s plot, but the cast made sure to hint at it on social media. Gomez also posted some pictures of herself wearing the dress on Instagram with the comment, “I have no caption.” “Just another day at work. @onlymurdershulu,” Steve Martin and Martin Short, who play Charles-Haden and Oliver Putnam, respectively, also used Twitter to make fun of the situation.

“Guess what just happened!” Martin wrote in the description of a picture of himself wearing a tuxedo and standing next to Selena. 

Short, who never misses a chance to make fun of his co-star, also shared a picture of himself with Selena with the words “Turns out this happened, too.”
