For the first time since missing the Met Gala due to what was said to be a sick episode, Rihanna was spotted.

The 36-year-old singer of the Diamonds was seen hugging her 35-year-old partner A$AP Rocky on Thursday as she left a New York City building and got into her waiting car.

She had the perfect look, as usual.

Wearing a textured jacket, hoodie, and sleek black dress, Rihanna looked stunning. She carried a white purse with quilting over her shoulder.

She exuded coolness with her perfectly coiffed blonde hair and her metallic-rimmed sunglasses.

She looked fierce wearing a silver choker necklace, adding even more glitz.

Rihanna was one of the most anticipated celebrities to attend the Met Gala on Monday night at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, but she was unable to go. 

The style icon and singer was’sick with the flu,’ an insider said People on Monday, and she was unable to attend after giving fans a sneak peek at what her outfit would look like.

The 35-year-old rapper A$AP Rocky, a native of Saint Michael, Barbados, was spotted with her partner on Saturday night in Miami at his Puma pop-up store.

Robyn Rihanna Fenty, the vocalist of Umbrella, had hinted at wearing pink hair for the occasion, leading some to believe it would go well with her Met Gala outfit.

After her vacation to Miami, Rihanna made her way to New York City, a source informed Page Six on Monday. The insider also mentioned that a stylist for the singer ‘was seen at the Carlyle Hotel meeting the security crew that brought her jewels’ for the event. 

The Grammy-winning musician had discussed her wardrobe preparations for the annual event in an interview with Extra on April 27, and she had been planned to attend this year’s festivities.

While attending a Los Angeles event to promote her Fenty Beauty line, Rihanna told the newspaper, “I’m actually just keeping it real simple this year.”
